Marc Thomas

Born in Montreal, Marc first became fascinated by photography at the age of 13. This pursuit led him to teach himself how to operate a camera, to learn to do his own darkroom development and work as photo journalist for a local paper. Photography has become the ideal medium for the expression of his artistic talents.


An overview of Marc's portfolio reveals that he has a passion for capturing not only wonders of nature but also, artistic still-lifes, fine art nudes and commercial shots. Further, this photographer's work only begins with the raw image. His characteristic use of after-effects give a distinctive style and a certain depth to his final images.


Marc has been presented with several photography awards and it is evident from his body of work that the pursuit of photography is a labor of love and dedication.
