The Importance of First Impressions

In the music industry first impressions are everything, that is why record publishing companies make certain that the cover of every CD by their best selling artists have attractive, professionally designed covers. There's not much sense in spending many hours in a studio producing a CD, plus a small fortune in have it published, to then settle for a generic cover if the end result is that people ignore your CD. There is also the fact that if you send your CD as a demo to a recording label or radio station for air play you will be taken more seriously if your cover art looks professional. Most individuals working in those fields handle a large amount of CDs and an eye-catching CD cover can make all the difference between being listened to or being discarded.

*The above rates are to give you a basic idea of the cost of a CD Design commission. Because every project is different, it's difficult to give an exact price until I understand what you have in mind in terms of design. In addition to the design, the prices include all image editing, type setting and prep work. What you will receive is a professional looking camera-ready layout on a CD to bring to a printer of your choice.

If you are a local band and you have a limited budget let me know, perhaps I can offer a more affordable package that could include promotional photography as well.
