Dark Art

Dark images, music, clothing and literature have always been favourite subjects of mine. What is interesting about the area of dark photography is that it often pushes the envelope by depicting images that are stimulating and thought-provoking through their intense subject matter.

To see the the best versions of the pictures, or any images on the web for that matter, take a few seconds to adjust your monitor. You should be able to see all the different shades of grey on the bar below, the blocks are all the same size, make sure you see the difference between black and near-black and white and near-white. Adjust your monitor's contrast and brightness if you have to.

(Please note monitors tend to get darker with age)
