For the past three years I have been involved with DreamBuilderStudios which is a new Micro Studio Complex that is being constructed for the purpose of servicing the Independent Film and Audio Industry. My function in this new venture is to provide artists with commercial photography services such as CD art covers, band photos, posters, T-shirts and other promotional items. Audio Studio” A” is 32 x 26 foot with 14 foot ceiling, acoustically designed, hardwood floored, noiseless air conditioned room. The Control Room is a 22 x 16 foot space with soffit mounted, 5.1 surround monitors acoustically tuned with Auralex panels & products. The Audio Studio was designed by a renowned acoustical engineer. Working with a large empty space, rather than remodeling existing rooms, allowed for acoustically accurate construction. Latest generation sound reduction technology was used in an effort to increase recording quality. Some of the features of the Audio Studio are; double wall construction, isolated floors and ceilings, noiseless air conditioning system, and it happens to be the only soffit mounted 5.1 surround control room in Eastern Canada.
