Alister Vile - The Hunger from Within
The Hunger from Within Last week I had a photoshoot with a new model called Aleister Vile. Aleister is an all around creatively talented individual; not only does he model but he's also the lead singer of a Dark Metal band called 'Endless Curse', as well as being a painter and a graphic artist. Another creative individual who took part in this photo session is Fancee, a make-up artist, who did the body make-up for this photo. The above photograph was selected among the 30 or so images taken that afternoon, it was shot against a white backdrop so a more grungy background could be added later. The entire composition was created in Photoshop CS2 which is probably the best image editor on the market today. The background image is of a concrete wall which I tinted and processed until I had the desired look I wanted. Various photoshop brushes were then added to create a more sinister feel to go along with the original photograph. I would like to thank Aleister not only for modeling but for coming up with the wicked ideas for the shoot (You rock man!) and Fancee for the body make-up and taking part in this photoshoot.
